Special Education Challenges & Opportunities in the Charter School Sector

This report, which focuses on special education in charter schools, finds that charters' struggles with special education may limit the degree to which parents of students with disabilities view charter schools as viable options for their children. Additionally, difficulty in support special education students may keep qualified candidates from developing charter proposals may limit the quality of the charter school sector.
