CCSA announced the largest one-year growth of new charter schools in the nation, as 115 new schools opened their doors at the beginning of the 2010-11 school year. The total number of charter schools in California now stands at 912, the highest number of any state in the country. This fact sheet summarizes information about this year's growth.
