CCSA's in-depth Governance Academy is offered twice a year, as a resource to members. This free, intensive three-hour workshop is a must for board members and school leaders alike, giving you all the key information you need to be an effective steward of a charter public school.

Schools will learn how to identify key areas of expertise for high-functioning boards and receive training on the Brown Act. The workshop will also include discussion of financial responsibilities and oversight as well as HR Issues, and board committee limitations and duties.
