Tomorrow, December 8th, charter school families will hold a press conference outside Los Angeles Unified headquarters in downtown L.A. to demand more parent choice and better public schools across the city.

"Every family deserves a great school like the one I went to," says Andy Linares, who graduated from a charter school and now attends Cal State Northridge. "We are demanding more charter schools and other great school across L.A. because the families and neighborhoods of this city cannot wait any longer."

The press conference and rally by charter school parents and graduates comes at a time when demand for charters is surging and charters are outperforming district schools on every measure. More than 40,000 students in L.A. are on charter school waitlists.

CCSA Families unites charter school families from across California into a powerful voice for excellent schools for all children. We engage, educate and support parents to become leaders in their communities.
