The CDE and the State Board of Education are now recruiting applicants for the Computer Science Standards Advisory Committee (CSSAC) to assist with the development of California's new Computer Science Standards. Note: These activities are contingent on CDE receiving funding. Please see the flyer below for more information and a link to the application form. Applications are due March 31, 2017. For more information, please contact Paula Evans, Consultant Professional Learning Support Division California Department of Education E-Mail: pevans@cde.ca.gov or Phone: 916-319-0241

This committee will include 20 members or so and half must by law be Computer Science (CS) teachers. As a Board member lead for both Computer Science and Charter Schools, I hope to see many charter teachers or administrators with CS expertise apply for this committee!

  • September 25-26, 2017
