Access to high quality, welcoming, safe education options for all students remains a top priority for the California Charter Schools Association (CCSA). With the new school year underway, CCSA would like to share with charter schools across California resources from our team and our partners in education to help you address the needs of your school community related to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, protections for LGBTQ youth, any policies that specifically affect Muslim families, and more.*

CCSA's Safe Space Tools webpage offers the following resources for members from our team and our partners in education:

These resources are not an endorsement of a particular political viewpoint; they are meant to help charter schools address questions/concerns within schools and ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students, regardless of immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, class, faith, or disability so that they can focus on what matters most: their learning.
