CCSA Congratulates California Recipients of "Charter Schools Program" Grants

Four California Charter Management Organizations (CMOs) and two California non-profit agencies/state agencies were awarded grants on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) through the "Expanding Opportunity through Quality Charter Schools Program (Charter Schools Program or CSP)." The CSP provides grants to fund the creation and expansion of public charter schools across the nation, giving students access to more options for their education.

One CSP grant, Replication and Expansion of High-Quality Charter Schools, awarded approximately $52.4 million to non-profit charter management organizations. In California, the following CMOs were given this grant:
