Bolster Your Conference Registration by Adding a Pre-Conference Workshop
Arrive early and attend a Pre-Conference Workshop offered on Monday, March 26 that are intensive 2.5 hours sessions on various subjects.
E-RATE: Tech Funding for All!, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
E-Rate is a federal funding program that awards major discounts on Internet service and the network infrastructure to distribute Internet to classrooms. All public schools are eligible for at least 20% and up to 90% discount. You cannot afford to ignore this funding mechanism! This session will provide an overview of the program, insights to maximize your benefits and guidance to help your school get started.
Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP), 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Got questions about the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the LCAP rubrics, otherwise known as the California School Dashboard? This intensive workshop will provide you with insights into LCAP Template requirements as they apply to charter schools and the State Board-Approved State & Local Indicators as identified in the California Dashboard.
Please note that registration in a pre-conference workshop does not include participation in the rest of the conference taking place March 26 to 28. Engage in Focused Programming by Participating in these Unique Formats
Governance Summit will be held March 27 and 28 and will provide focused content, best practices and tools for success for new and veteran charter school board members.
Exhibit Hall Expos are made up of poster sessions and a few expo presentations that are hosted in the Expo Pavilion in the exhibit hall and are organized around topics such as teachers, facilities, funding, STEM, technology and operations. These sessions are informal presentations that provide additional opportunities for speakers and attendees to interact.

Welcome Reception, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
This popular reception on Monday night offer appetizers, drinks and a great way to meet colleagues from your region and across the state.
Regional Meetings, 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.
Each year, the CCSA Member Council hosts Regional Meetings for conference attendees. These sessions provide attendees with the opportunity to discuss critical issues specific to your region and to network with other charter school leader representatives. Charter school leaders, charter school management organizations, business managers, board members and community partners should attend. Wine and cheese will be served!
CCSA Advocates Kickoff, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
After the Welcome Reception, head to the CCSA Advocates Conference Kickoff & Fundraiser. Join us for this fun annual event and keep the momentum going. Register and donate at https://charterconference.org/2018PAC/. The donation levels for this political fundraiser range from $20 to $200.
February 16 is the Last Day to Receive the Standard Registration Rate for Conference
