Camino Nuevo Charter Academy and its CEO Ana Ponce to be Inducted Into 2018 National Charter Schools Hall of Fame

To kick off National Charter Schools Week, the California Charter Schools Association (CCSA) is proud to celebrate Camino Nuevo Charter Academy (Camino Nuevo) in Los Angeles and its CEO Ana Ponce (Ponce) who will be inducted in the 2018 National Charter Schools Hall of Fame by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools (National Alliance).

Camino Nuevo and Ponce will join the ranks of 35 other charter public school individuals and organizations who have had a significant and deep impact on the national charter public school movement. In addition to Camino Nuevo and Ponce, IDEA Public Schools in Texas and its leadership as well as Yu Ying Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. and its leadership, will be inducted into the National Charter Schools Hall of Fame. These charter public school organizations and individuals will participate in a formal induction at the 2018 National Charter School Conference (NCSC18) in Austin, Texas in June.
