Save the Date: California Science Test Academy for Educators

To support implementation of the California Science Test (CAST), the California Department of Education is partnering with Educational Testing Service and WestEd to offer a one-day CAST Academy for local educational agency (LEA) science educators. The CAST Academy will help participants develop a deeper understanding of the assessment design and expectations of the CAST, as well as provide information and activities to assist educators in their understanding and implementation the California Next Generation Science Standards and three-dimensional learning.

Join us on Thursday, March 22 from 11 am to noon to hear from incoming CCSA Board Chair Margaret Fortune about AB 2635, CCSA’s sponsored legislation authored by Assemblymember Shirley Weber, Autumn Burke, and Mike Gipson.
