Mission:

CCSA's California Charter School Attorney Network is a group of attorneys who convenes to share information regarding laws applicable to charter schools and discuss emerging legal trends impacting charter schools, with the ultimate goal of advancing the charter school movement through strategically-aligned legal advocacy.

The Attorney Network endeavors to meet twice per year. CCSA is authorized by the State Bar of California as an MCLE provider.

Membership:

The Attorney Network consists of attorneys who serve as legal counsel for a charter school or a nonprofit charter management organization, or who serve on CCSA's Legal Advisory Committee, and who avoid representing parties whose interests are adverse to a charter school or the charter school movement. Members have an affirmative duty to inform CCSA when the member no longer represents and/or acts in the interests of charter schools.

Membership requests and referrals are reviewed and approved by CCSA Legal staff. For more information about the Attorney Network, please contact Legal@ccsa.org.
