Vice President, School Performance, Accountability, and Research
Erin is the Vice President of School Performance, Accountability and Research (SPAR) as part of CCSA's Schools team. Erin leads the team that supports charter schools in improving quality and accelerating the closing of opportunity gaps through strengthened academic performance and research while also monitoring the accountability landscape at a state and national level for implications for our members. Before coming to CCSA, Erin ran a non-profit which worked to build functional coalitions among CMOs in California focused on teacher and principal support and development. Before that she worked at a non-profit focused on teaching student about ethics and was a special education teacher's assistant. Erin has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Education Psychology focus), MA in Learning Technologies, and Bachelor's in Applied Psychology. Originally haling from Oklahoma, having lived in upstate New York for a few years, she prefers low-70s year round and won't be satisfied until she finds it - making do with Los Angeles for the past 12 years. Erin is an avid reader, appreciator of the arts (theatre, culinary, visual), and is considered real life royalty to her two young daughters.
