Hilary is Vice President, Northern California Local Advocacy and leads CCSA’s local advocacy work across the Bay Area, Central Valley and Northern California. In this role, she leads the team responsible for charter school policy and member advocacy efforts at the district and county level. She is a seasoned professional who has built extensive experience working in the nonprofit sector in the areas of education, community development, health, affordable housing, and economic development. Prior to joining CCSA, Hilary served as Principal of Axio Policy Research & Consulting, a firm specializing in research and analysis, program development and evaluation for community-based organizations, grantmaking foundations, and public agencies. She received a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. She enjoys reading, swimming and crossword puzzles. Hilary currently lives in the Bay Area with her husband and three kids.
