Vice President, Local Advocacy Member Relations and Support
Miles is the Vice President for Member Relations and Support on the Local Advocacy team. He is responsible for coordinating and supporting the advocacy team integration of local strategies into a statewide system and structure. Miles resides in Orange County, and lived in San Diego for over 25 years. He began his career in public education over 20 years ago as the Administrative and Legislative Manager at San Diego Unified School District. While Miles was born in Pennsylvania, he grew up in Los Angeles and attended schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District to complete his K-12 education. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University. Miles spends most of his free time with his two children and partner. They enjoy playing volleyball together, traveling and camping in Baja, Mexico.
