Amber is the Chief Equity, People and Culture Officer and leads CCSA’s Human Capital Team that support the overall health and well-being of the organization’s people and culture. Amber brings two decades of People expertise to the table, with prior experience spanning government, the private sector, public sector, non-profits, and AI tech startups. Notably, she's made impactful contributions to renowned organizations like Nike, The Coca-Cola Company, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, and more recently, Kiva, where she was VP, of People and Places helping to democratize access to financial capital for underserved communities globally.
A true Californian at heart, Amber was born and raised in Sacramento, where she continues to reside. She proudly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning.
When she's not immersed in the dynamic world of Equity, People and Culture, Amber finds solace and joy in her cherished family moments. She's a devoted wife and mother of four, with two of her children already attending Charter Schools and the other two following suit. When the opportunity arises, Amber enjoys wine tastings with her close-knit circle of friends.
