Defend Charters at the State Level: Secure Defensive Wins

CCSA is dedicated to defending charter schools at the state level by blocking detrimental bills and regulations, and ensuring charter inclusion in the state budget. Our advocacy efforts are unmatched, wielding significant influence in the state capitol.

Fight for Fairness in the Courts: Address Critical Issues Impacting Members

CCSA takes legal action to address critical, potentially precedent-setting issues that impact the collective, like facility and funding access, authorizer overreach, and unlawful policies. Our current priority is to secure fair, AB 1505-aligned renewal precedents, ensuring charter schools are treated justly in the renewal process for years to come.

Protect and Support Members: Provide Robust Local Advocacy and Support

As regional leaders, CCSA advocates for our members at the local level through unified action and strategic renewal support. We focus on preventing negative outcomes in local politics as charter renewals occur, ensuring that AB 1505 is favorably interpreted in authorizer decisions and policies.

Build Unity and Strength: Deepen Member Engagement and Broaden Stakeholder Involvement

CCSA delivers exceptional value by fostering deep engagement and expanding stakeholder involvement. The strength of the collective leads to better legislation, funding, and resources. We continuously improve by engaging with our Member Council and affinity groups, addressing unique challenges.
