As Vice President of Government Affairs, Colin leads CCSA’s GA team in Sacramento on all advocacy and policy work related to the state legislature, budget and state agencies. Colin also works with Association staff and membership to interpret and implement legislative and regulatory actions and to represent members concerns in Sacramento. A founding staff member of CCSA, Colin has over 20 years of experience in education policy, finance and charter school issues in CA. Prior to joining CCSA, Colin learned state finance and education policy in roles with the State Auditor, Department of Finance, Department of Education and the Governor’s Office of Child Development and Education. A California native, Colin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from CSU and a Masters in Business Administration from UC and is the proud parent of charter school graduate!
