Filomena Spero

Filomena is CCSA’s Managing Director of Development, bringing over 25 years of development and educational experience. Having begun her career as an educator before moving into higher ed development, Filomena is passionate about fundraising to provide opportunities to all students, regardless of economic circumstances, the resources needed to recognize their full potential.

Born and raised in Chicago, Filomena earned a B.A. in History and Secondary Education at Elmhurst University. When Filomena isn’t working, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog Sofia.
