Managing Director, Bay Area Local Advocacy
Jaime joins CCSA as Managing Director, Bay Area Local Advocacy. She leads the team in execution of advocacy priorities in Oakland and Alameda County and serves as the face of CCSA with coalition partners, elected leaders and charter members. She works in collaboration to support our member schools through renewals, new school authorization, AB1505 implementation at districts and counties and local elections work. She will be instrumental in building additional partnerships across the region for the benefit of all students.
Jaime has more than a decade of teaching, curriculum design and implementation, and school administrative experience including serving as Director of the San Francisco Teacher Residency at the University of San Francisco in partnership with SFUSD and Stanford University. She also served as the Principal at Livermore Valley Charter School and prior to that, led teacher support work for Teach for America in the Bay Area. When she is not out fighting the good fight, she loves spending time with her family near and far.
