Amanda is the Director, School Quality Support and is on CCSA’s School’s team. In this role, she helps creates programming, tools, and resources to support charter schools in their academic growth journey, for both student achievement and for the charter renewal process.

As a first-generation college graduate, Amanda is passionate about the transformative power of education. She brings over 14 years of leadership experience in TK-12 public education. She served as a Director for a charter school district where she oversaw systems of improvement, instructional programming, and supported school teams with analyzing student data to leverage data insights into clear, actionable instruction. Before she was recruited to the Directorship, she served as a Director in Leadership & Learning at San Diego USD and a leader in Education Services at a county office of education advising and supporting district leadership on systems of support, leadership coaching on equitable & inclusive practices. Amanda is known for thinking imaginatively and acting with conviction and purpose. 

She earned her bachelor’s degree in government. Her master’s in education from Claremont Graduate University, and her doctorate in Leadership from USC. Recently, she earned her master’s in psychology from Harvard where her research focused on building belonging: leading inclusive school cultures.
