Jason Sample

Jason Sample is a former elected member of a local school board, non-profit organization Director, and education administrator with over 17 years in education and more than 18 years of experience in non-profit and community development management. His personal values of service and a solid commitment to personal and professional growth have led him to hold a variety of regional positions with the Association for California School Administrators and serve as a Member Council representative for the California Charter Schools Association. Jason represents charter schools as an Accrediting Commission for Schools -Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Commissioner and as a member of the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT). Mr. Sample earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento, and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of La Verne. He also has received certification from the University of Southern California Urban Superintendents Academy. In addition to his work within the field of education, Mr. Sample has served as a Sacramento County First Five Commissioner, City of Sacramento Planning Commissioner, City of Sacramento Police Commissioner, and numerous community-based organizations boards such as the Sacramento Metro Chamber Workforce and Education Committee and the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association Board of Directors.
