Jorge Franco

Jorge Franco is CCSA’s Associate Director in the Central Valley. Jorge is an invaluable member of the NorCal team as we work toward supporting our members, enhancing educational opportunities, and building brighter futures for the students and families of Northern California.  Jorge has worked in education in a variety of capacities for the past 10 years, spending the last 4 years specializing in equity within education.  He earned his Master of Arts in Social & Cultural Analysis in Education from CSU Long Beach. He is a California native through and through being born in Sacramento, raised in California’s Central Valley (Ivanhoe, CA), and spending formative professional years in working with communities all over Central and Southern California. Jorge champions working with marginalized and underserved communities.

In his free time Jorge enjoys watching and participating in sports, reading, cooking, and indulging in his collection hobbies.
